Interested in serving on a company's board?

Please note that Gildi Pension Fund is looking for individuals interested in serving on the boards of limited companies with the support of the fund. This includes seeking interested candidates to sit on the boards of companies listed on the Nasdaq Iceland stock exchange, as well as on the boards of unlisted companies in which the fund is among the largest shareholders.

We are looking for people who meet the general statutory qualification requirements for board membership, although other priorities or conditions on the part of the fund may vary according to circumstances.

The selection of board members whom Gildi nominates or wishes to support for board positions is based on a professional process in which factors such as education, professional knowledge, experience, competence and suitability are assessed. Particular attention is paid to the composition of company boards with regard to diverse expertise and gender balance, and to ensuring that there are no conflicts of interest between individual board members and the company.
