Information for borrowers regarding tax returns

If the loans are not clearly visible in the tax return, you need to go to the "itemisation sheet", mark the relevant items and transfer them from there into the return.

Loans from us have two loan numbers, one from Gildi and another from Íslandsbanki, which is the fund's collection agent. The loan number from Íslandsbanki is shown on payment slips and in Íslandsbanki's online bank. Gildi's loan number is shown on the member website.

• Loan origination fee, base loan - ISK 55,000
• Loan origination fee, supplementary loan - ISK 9,000
• Documentation fee per loan - ISK 8,000

Note that before 22 February 2024, the documentation fee was only charged once per application, regardless of the number of loans. However, for loans issued on or after 22 February 2024, the documentation fee is charged for each individual loan.
